The Cuban weather is always extremely hot! Please make sure you put on some sunscreen, bring a hat if possible and plenty of energy to enjoy your day at the beach.
what will we do?
Your day will start very early so that you can make the best of your time at the beach. We will go all along the northern coast of western Cuba and the drive will take around two hours. If you are not a beach person, no worries, you will be fascinated with the beauty of the landscape on your way to Varadero.
Piña colada in hand, do not miss the opportunity to take some amazing pictures at Bacunayagua bridge, the highest bridge in Cuba, from where you will appreciate a privileged view of Valle Yumurí and the ocean.
Before you arrive to Varadero, you will go through Matanzas, known for its poets, its bridges and its afro-Cuban culture; Matanzas is located on the shore of one of the deepest bays in Cuba.
“Amazing” –is the best way to describe Varadero. If you like watersports, there will be multiple choices such as fishing, snorkeling, jet skiing, windsurfing, sailing, among others. If you prefer to lie down and relax with a good book, the intense sun of the Caribbean and the smell of the sea, Varadero will be your perfect getaway.
