 what will we do?

There is no better way to get to know the city than on foot. Start the morning with a walk around the city’s historical area. Part of the City Historian Office is significantly better preserved than the nearby areas. Visit the city´s main squares: Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco, Plaza Vieja and Plaza San Francisco de Asis. You will also find other attractions along the way such as the Ambos Mundos Hotel (where Ernest Hemingway used to stay during his first visits to the island), the Capitol building and Obispo street- Old Havana’s main commercial artery. While sights and history will certainly demand your attention, you will also be fascinated by locals walking by and some small businesses you will find on the way. Great place for shopping and pictures!
After a three-hour walk, finish the tour in a local private restaurant. Learn about the main ingredients of the Cuban cuisine and try an authentic Cuban lunch accompanied by a local cocktail.
Time for some history
After lunch and a cup of coffee, your next stop will be at the Museum of the Revolution. Cuban history and politics are highly controversial. This museum along with your guide will offer you a deeper insight into the Cuba before the revolutionary triumph in 1959, when it was under the Batista´s regime and the first measures adopted by the Fidel Castro’s government. For many, one of the most enlightening visits during their trip.
Alternatively, if you are not so much interested in history, we can replace the visit to the Museum of the Revolution with a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts or a salsa lesson, if you are not a big fan of museums.
Go back in time in a vintage car
With some of the most beautiful and best-preserved vintage cars in the world, the streets of Havana look like a rainbow of colors when it comes to cars and models. Enjoy a ride around some of the most popular and appealing neighborhoods in the city. Drive by the Malecón, the Revolution Square, the cemetery, Miramar, La Rampa and Vedado neighborhood.
Finish the ride at the Hotel Nacional and enjoy a wonderful view from its terrace accompanied by a drink and some information about the mafia years on the island.
