You will enjoy a cooking class at the house of a local chef. The experience will start with a welcome drink followed by an explanation of the main ingredients we use on a daily basis.
Get ready to start working! Yes, this isn’t only a demonstration class; you will be involved in every single step of the process. You will learn how to make tostones, ropa vieja (shredded beef or lamb), and chicken in farmer style, the famous black beans and many other little treats. Dessert will also be part of the equation, Cuban people love sweets.
After you finish your hard day of work, you will enjoy the fruits of your labor sitting with the chef and part of his family. This will be a unique meal where all sorts of topics will be addressed: the current economic situation of the country, the resourcefulness of Cubans, our daily adventures and anything that comes to your mind!
